Finger-knitting. Self-taught. This kept her busy form sun up to sun down both Thursday and Friday which was so great since we were home bound with a sick little boy. She had 15 done and was SUPER bright with them all draped around her!

Hunting Season
That's right people. It's hunting season again. Lucky for me this one didn't last long at all! In one week Bill got his deer on opening day and his cow elk a few days later. Boom! Done. I opted out of the camping part this time around since I didn't want to miss work with our trip coming up soon and it being so busy those first couple of week we had just gone a few weeks prior. Tristan was thrilled to be able to skip out on school for a couple of days and spend some time doing manly stuff with his dad! He was in HEAVEN! Bill was pretty dang excited too. Aside from it being very cold the last 2 days he had a blast with T-boy and glad he had his son with him when he got his buck and elk.
I have to say I do look forward to hunting season as well for the plain fact that I get some one-on-one time with my favorite girl! Unfortunately we had to still do our everyday things. Work, homework, clean, etc... But we did get in some fun stuff as well! We went to Tepanyaki for dinner with my parents and then went to see Guardians of the Galaxy. Then the next day was really rainy so even though I had wanted to go to Gardner Village to see the witches we went to see Maleficent again. We love that movie and it was playing at the dollar theater so why the heck not?! We're kind of movie fanatics in this house.
It was a fun week but I was glad to have my boys back! Tristan looked like he had grown a foot while he was gone. Not to mention I could finally sleep without freaking myself out.

There are no pictures of Stella and me since Bill had my camera. And for the record I do hate pictures with dead animals and people holding their limp head up. Grosses me out! But look how happy my boys are! Bill won a few cool points that week!
Soccer Stud & the Green Gators
This fall Tristan decided instead of playing football he wanted to play soccer. He hasn't played team soccer since he was about 3 years old so I was excited to watch him! Especially with how competative he is and in soccer you can be a bit of a ball hog and it's OK. For the most part anyway ;) He loves to play soccer everyday at recess with his friends. He had several really good kids on his team! If you ask him he won every game. I believe he won every game but one. He got a goal or two almost every game too! He loved to be the goalie though and begged the coach almost every time to put him in as goalie. I love to watch him when he doesn't realize anyone is watching him. He's such a visual kid and I could see him picturing the ball coming at him and blocking it. Or practice kicking the ball. I love this kids passion for all things - especially sports. He enjoys it so much and it's such a big part of his life. Such a boy!
